The remains of a structure, probably used as a salt warehouse, were located in the immediate vicinity of the main channel and the salt pans. Today, the building lies submerged at a depth of up to 1 metre, and its overall dimensions are 18.20 × 31 metres. Within the surviving remains, three rooms can be identified in the southern part of the structure, while a single elongated room occupied its northern section.

The outer walls on the seaward side of the building were reinforced with buttresses that ensured the stability of the structure under the pressure of the stored salt. The roof of the warehouse was constructed using ceramic roof tiles (tegulae) and curved ridge tiles (imbrices).
